It was a thrill that this year I got into the Rocky Mountain National Watermedia Show in Evergreen, Colorado. I rarely enter an art show, but because I like this one so much, I made the effort to enter it. It is a show that offers cash prizes and is often featured in Watercolor or Artist's Magazine.
The piece I entered was titled "The Golden Triangle". It was minimalism and monochromatic. I used torn strips of paper from an old book to make the triangle, then I applied a soluble wax crayon over that to make a black line. It is 18x24 inches on watercolor paper.
