Antipasto Study Focusing on De Stael's Early 1950s Style


I'm preparing to do an "in the style of" Nicolas De Stael abstract expression piece in which I do antipasto color field blocks somewhat like he did. I hope to use a pallet knife and some acrylic based plaster to show both peeks of color within rough texture between velvety color blocks. In reviewing some videos, this one shows close ups of the areas I want to study. I love the crusty edges!
